black friday cloth diapers sale

This fitted cloth diaper contains 100% organically grown natural unbleached cotton. Cover sold separately.

Newborn, orange edges fits birth to 11 or 12 pounds.

Small, yellow edges fits 9 to 14 pounds.

Medium, red edges fits 14 to perhaps 24 pounds.

Large, brown edges fit 21 to 30 pounds (or starting at around 17 pounds for rounder, fuller-shaped or long babies).

XLarge, green edges, 26-38 pounds, or age 2-3

Will Workhorse prevent a blowout? It could! No diaper is 100% blowout-proof, but the shape of this diaper with elastics and the correctly-sized fit plus with the added protection of a diaper cover over can help.

Sizing is approximate. Always wash only one if unsure of size. It is ok to skip sizes. Learn more.  This is inner absorbency. Use it with a diaper cover.

Cloth-eez® Workhorse™ diapers are made of wonderful 100% cotton prefold diaper fabric in fitted diaper shape with a built in flap style doubler.

The body of the Workhorse diaper has 8 layers.  Sizes Medium, Large and XL have 8 layers in the flap for a total of 16 layers! Size Newborn and Small have a 6 layer flap which is a more appropriate thickness for a younger baby. As with any diaper, you can add a doubler or a preemie diaper for additional absorbency for long outings, naps or nighttime as needed.

Did you ever wish your lovely prefolds were shaped like a fitted? There is no better diapering fabric than the cotton prefold fabric. It washes so easily and wears so well. No polyester stink, no repelling, no special detergents are needed for 100% cotton diapers. The flap style doubler is sewn inside in the back only for quick drying. See pictures on a baby here. Designed by Karen and made exclusively for Green Mountain Diapers. I love cotton diapers, especially prefolds, but sometimes a fitted style is preferred. This is an economy fitted with great low price and no confusing adjustments which create additional bumps and lumpy places. It's not fancy but it does the job really well at a great price. Sized diapers fit better than "one-size-fits-all" diapers because young babies are little and older babies are bigger. Yup, that's true. We made the wings a little longer on the no-closure version to give you more fabric to use for pinning or fastening them but the rise is the same for both versions. Consider baby's shape when choosing size. Wide, round "booty" shapes will need to size-up sooner than narrow, flat-bottom shapes, who will stay in a smaller size longer. Very fast growing newborns can skip size small and go from Newborn to Medium.

Note: This is a diaper (inner absorbency).  It requires a cover (sold separately).

One FREE pair of pins is included with purchase of the no-closure version. That means one free pair per order, not per diaper. You re-use the same pair of pins over and over again. If you need more pins or other fasteners, see fasteners.

Ditch the synthetics and simplify your wash routine with cotton in a size that actually fits your baby.
Customize the fit with the snapless no-closure version for perfect containment and comfort.

This is a diaper which means it is the absorbent part. Use a diaper cover over this diaper, which is not included.

Please wash several times before first use.  Natural unbleached cotton needs quite a few preparation cycles to wash off the natural cotton oils before full absorbency is reached. This "prepping" (4 or more wash cycles) is a one-time thing. Link to more washing information.

Want fewer size to buy? Here's how.

To make this a Two-Size System, choose Small and Large

To make this Three-Size System, choose Newborn, Medium and decide later if you want to go with Large or XL when the time comes, based on baby's shape and growth pattern. I do prefer size newborn on a newborn baby so I like the 3 size option best. This newborn size is not teeny-tiny.

Since the No-Closure version is more adjustable than the snap version, size skipping is even easier with the No-Closure style.  You can pull up the rise, fold it down and fasten it so you can size-up sooner and still get a good fit with this version.

Other considerations: Sometimes girls tend to need bigger sizes sooner due to rounder bottoms than boys who sometimes have flatter bottoms. When choosing ahead of time, it's always a guess, but a girl with a round bottom shape may do well with small to large while a boy with a flatter bottom may like newborn, medium then large and never get to XL. Round booty uses up the rise faster than flatter shapes.

Size small is often skipped. A fast growing baby with a round booty might even skip size medium too and go newborn to large with no problem. A 20 pound 4 month old needs size large, for example.  Slower growing little ones will enjoy each size for a longer time so consider your baby's growth rate.

Just because many sizes are offered does not mean all the sizes are needed. This is true for prefolds, too. Having options is great because if you are buying when baby is on the end of one size or another, having various size choices helps you get what works for you, with growing room, at the right time. Size-skipping is great option.
