One-Size Wizard Uno on this page. Also available in Newborn

Size: 7-35 pounds.   Better at 13 pounds and up.

Using only the best design and materials, the Uno provides excellent absorbency and a great fit while using comfortable, natural cotton next to baby.

Features:

  • Natural Cotton with a polyester core sewn in for durability. Only cotton touches baby.
  • Three-across rise snaps
  • Excellent Absorbency
  • Easy Care Technology - ease of washing and quick drying. Smart design!
  • Day Care friendly
  • Inner and Outer Leakage Protection - two separate elastics, creating two lines of defense across the legs + a full waist elastic
  • Most importantly, comfortable for baby.

Notes from Karen:  It is a true all-in-one which means that there is nothing to stuff. It is ready to use as it is. The design is fantastic. The inner absorbency is sewn down in the front and back but not attached near the leg area. The edge of the absorbency is curved up with the softest binding and gentle hidden elastic so it catches what it needs to catch - an inner gusset on the absorbency section. Also, the waterproof part has a single gusset which has the softest nylon edge binding. This is the "least marking" of all the leg gusset designs that I know of.  Nylon really is less "marky" (doesn't leave red marks on baby's legs) than the common knit polyester fabrics on other brands.  This is fantastic for delicate skin and nice and gentle for any baby. Don't worry that it is a single gusset. The inner cotton gusset catches it and the single gusset part works as the backup protection very well which together works as two gussets. It works. The "side pocket" design allows water to wash through easily plus if you need additional absorbency, you can quickly "stuff" a doubler underneath from the side. This means that caregivers don't get confused by multilple parts. They put it on baby just by fastening the snaps. Even the snaps are gentle and easy to snap and unsnap. Gentle, luxurious comfort is what Mother-ease is all about.

About Mother-ease fabrics:

Mother-ease custom knit fabrics move wetness quickly, in order to obtain the highest absorbency, and release soil, making them easy to launder. You will not find these fabrics on a shelf at your local fabric store. The fabric has been extensively tested and is made with only the softest, most effective materials.

This custom knit fabric made specially for Mother-ease also means that they do not require multiple washes* to 'prep' them to become absorbent before you use them!

Fabric Content:

The Natural Cotton Terry is specially knit with only cotton touching your baby's delicate skin.

Polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability, and shrinkage control.

The polyester core lengthens the lifespan of the natural cotton fabric.

The result is a very stretchy, comfortable and reliable product.

As you can see in the image below, polyester makes up the netted base of the fabric that the organic (or natural) cotton is woven through. You cannot see or feel this polyester core, it is just there to ensure your diapers last as long as you need them to.

mother-ease cotton fabric explained

This custom Mother-ease fabric is durable, soft and gives you the natural beauty of cotton along with the strength of the polyester base. It typically lasts longer than other 100% cotton diapers.  Soft knit edges make it very comfy, too.

Made in Canada.

Content: Outer: 100% polyester with TPU. Inner 100% cotton knit over a 100% polyester base grid.

Care:  Pre-rinse or do a short cycle with warm water and detergent.

Wash the cloth diapers in a full cycle, at the highest water level, using hot water and detergent. Rinse completely.

Avoid detergents that contain oxygenated bleaching agents, as they can be harsh on your baby's skin and cause damage to the elastics, bindings, and natural fabrics of the cloth diaper.

After washing, you can choose to either line dry or tumble dry the diapers.
