Mommy's Touch Cover

A basic white diaper cover that does the job gently.  

One-size fits 15 to 35 pounds.  

Soft fabric. Simple design. Enough adjustability for a flexible fit without all those bumpy rise snaps on the front. No rise snaps near baby's legs means increased comfort for baby - and for you holding baby, too.  Wipe-clean interior. It is possible to use it on a new baby but it is not ideal. the fit will be better when baby is bigger.

Why choose this style?  Once baby is around 15 pounds, the mass of rise snaps on the front of common covers can become of somewhat of an annoyance. The rise snaps can be bumpy, bulky and even hit baby's thighs.  This cover still has adjustability in both rise and width, but without all those bumpy and sometimes confusing rise snaps. 

Use this over a fitted diaper such as Workhorse medium and up or a fastened prefold intermediate and up, or any flat diaper.  While it is possible to trifold under this, we don't recommend that. The shape is made for going over a fitted diaper style or a fastened diaper. It's not super-tight but instead is roomy enough inside for ease of fitting over the diaper without much tucking or snugging.  This also allows for doublers to fit in there nicely.  

If you have seen indentations on you or baby from the outward facing rise snaps, you know what I mean.  This style is more comfortable than some overly-snug styles.

It's a different style for different reasons and different priorities.  It is nice to have choices. This cover has plenty of height in the front helps to keep pants dry without having to overly-tighten it.  This is not a new design. We brought back an old design that we had over 20 years ago. I really enjoyed this one on my now grown-up baby. Why? Comfort. Baby's comfort wins over looks for me.  

It's good over medium, large or XL Workhorse. It can be used over newborn and small Workhorse, but as with all one-size covers, it's a lot of cover on a very young baby. A smaller cover that fits a young baby is really better. It will probably be too big on the legs of a very young baby and that is not ideal but you can make it work if needed.

An economical cover made only in white to keep costs down. The fabric is so soft and the elastic is gentle and stretchy for baby's comfort.   Down the road, after lots of use and washings, this softer, 1 mil cover may wear out faster than a thicker 2 mil cover such as Thirsties, but that is the tradeoff for the softness.  Side by side with Thirsties, Thirsties will win the durability contest.  1 mil and 2 mil refers to the thickness of the waterproof TPU layer.

100% polyester with TPU laminate. CPSIA compliant. Standard elastic at legs and waist which may contain latex.  Nickel-free nylon snaps.  Made in China.

Care:

Machine wash warm, hang or tumble dry, remove promptly. Do not pull on warm elastics. Do not overdry.  No bleach, no fabric softeners. If washing and drying with your cotton diapers, remove covers from the dryer long before the diapers are dry.
