clearance sale cloth diapers

We have decided not to do another production run of this fabric. While I love this beautiful easy to prep organic fabric, customers tend to prefer the tan color of the unbleached version so these will not restock.

Size Newbie also makes a great mom pad, doubler or extra stuffer/insert for a pocket diaper.

UNIQUE FABRIC VERSION ONLY FROM CLOTH-EEZ.  Made out of organic cotton (product is not certified but we buy cotton that is to make them), we have already removed most of natural cotton oils for easier prepping*.  Chlorine-free whitened without optical brighteners. Fewer prep cycles needed since the natural unbleached cotton oils have already been removed - but not with chlorine bleach. They are peroxide bathed (similar to Oxi Clean) to remove the natural oils.  Why this version?  Lovely cottton without a zillion prepping cycles!

prefold cloth diapers on a baby changing table Prefolds are the backbone of baby's natural cloth diapering wardrobe.  Owning prefolds makes sense. They work. They are easy to wash. They are durable. They are natural. They are economical.  They are wonderful!    Fold in thirds and lay in a cover, stuff in pocket, wrap around baby and fasten, lay under baby on the changing table.  If you own them, you will use them.  An excellent choice.

*Prepping means preparing the diapers for the first use - doing the initial wash cycles before using.   You still have to wash them through a few times, like you would with any new product, but these don't need as many cycles as the unbleached version need before they are ready use on the baby.   Thus, these are faster to prep ("prep" means prepare).

Medium is the most-used size and it fits for a long time. 14-29 pounds or 4 months to 20 months. Or perhaps 6 months to potty learning age, depending in the shape of baby and how you use it- fastened, tri-folded or as an insert.  Intermediate is also a "medium" size.  Intermediate is a little wider but has 2 fewer layers in the center.  Why 6 center layers in Intermediate instead of 8?  8 layers in such a wide diaper is too bulky. We made that a decade ago called Wide Baby but after a year or two of selling Wide Baby and receiving a lot of feedback, we changed it to 6 center layers and changed the name to Intermediate.  This layering is much better when you add the width. Choose either medium.  A 4 month old 19 pound baby will do well in Intermediate, for example.

Replace your stinky microfiber inserts with these.  Measure your inserts and compare them to the shrunk measurements on the size chart.  Novice light green edge is the most popular size for stuffing in one-size pocket diapers.  For fully unsnapped rise, Intermediate light blue edge is good but some still prefer novice when trimness is the priority. These diapers are thick, so the Novice and Intermediate tend to give the best fit and are still much more absorbent than microfiber inserts.  You'll love them stuffed or just placed in the pocket with the cotton next to baby.  That's fast, easy and absorbs quickly for no repelling issues at all.  Try it!

Please refer to pictures on babies and the Size Chart prior to purchasing.

As with all clothing, size recommendations are suggestions and not guaranteed. If unsure of size please wash only one or two; unwashed items are returnable but washed items are not.

Also available in  natural unbleached

Also available in conventional cotton called  Classic White

Cloth-eez® Prefolds actually fit. A diaper that fits works best. One-size-fits-all really doesn't "fit all". Does a diaper that fits a 2 year old really fit your newborn? Nope. The right size for the right age and weight works best! Diapers that fit and wash easily are diapers you will use. These are the "top of the pile" diapers that you will reach for first and enjoy using.

These diapers are certified to Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex, as are all Cloth-eez brand cotton products. Additionally, this version of the prefold diapers is made out of organic cotton but are not certified as that. We purchase certified organic cotton which is then woven to our specifications in a mill that also processes conventional cotton thus these cannot be certified. It is then cut, folded and sewn to become these beautiful diapers.  This white version has already had the natural cotton oils removed using a peroxide based, chlorine-free whitening process without optical brighteners.  Fewer preparation wash cycles are needed since we have already removed the natural cotton oils, whereas the natural unbleached version still has the natural cotton oils and is tan in color.  Both versions start with the same raw cotton purchase even though color of the cotton ends up different.  So they are pretty much the same thing just different colors.

Faster prepping!

Affectionately known as "GMD Prefolds". These are hard-to-find, top quality, heavyweight 100% cotton twill diapers.  These are the real thing, and so very well made.  They are far superior to the store bought kind, and will stand up to repeated washings. Be realistic about the longevity of any diapering item and don't be wowed by unrealistic claims. They are durable and last very well but not forever.  They wash and dry very easily and never get that "icky polyester stink". The twill weave allows pins to slide through them easily without making holes in the fabric.  But you don't have to fasten them.  You can just fold the diaper in thirds and place it in a wrap style cover.  You will not be disappointed in these wonderful, versatile diapers.  You will find the "prefold love" with Cloth-eez® prefolds. Diapering with prefolds that fit really is easy.

Why choose which version?  Choose the color cotton that you like or choose these if you do not want to do all the many preparation cycles that the unbleached version require.

free cloth diaper pins One FREE pair of pins per order is available with purchase of this item when you add the pins to your cart through this Link.

Please wash several times before first use. This is called prepping.  Instructions are included in your order.   Link to more washing information.

Please note that you can use any mainstream laundry detergent on cotton diapers. You do not need to purchase "special for cloth diapers" detergents. We do not sell them and they are not needed on prefolds or Workhorse diapers.  Keep it simple. Use what you would normally use on your regular household laundry. Use whatever you happen to like that works in your water, but we do strongly suggest fragrance-free versions for use around a baby.

Content: 100% cotton, exclusive of trim. Edge thread and tag are nylon or polyester.  Made responsibly in Pakistan.

Care: Machine wash/dry.

Detailed Size Chart

When using prefolds as inserts in pocket diapers, they fit differently. Newborn is often used in at the two smallest rise settings. Small is used at the second highest or sometimes even at the highest rise setting. Intermediate is used at full unsnapped rise. Medium can be used at full rise but may be bulky for a pocket but is very absorbent so medium can be a good overnight choice in a pocket diaper at the full unsnapped rise setting. Large generally does not fit in most pocket diapers.
