Soft 100% cotton sherpa fabric. No polyester! Yay!
For nighttime or extended time in a diaper, add extra absorbency like this. Shown with 2 layer Sherpa Doubler over it. This gives nice absorbency and still washes and dries easily, unlike very thick fitted diapers. Older babies may need a doubler, younger babies probably do not need a doubler added.

same baby as above. Because the fabric has some stretch, you can get a nice fit at the legs without any elastic. No elastic means easier to wash and faster drying then fitteds, not to mention these cost so much less than fitted diapers, too.
Fabric at rest
Fabric pulled. The fabric has some stretch to it, even though it is 100% cotton, because it is knit.
Flip the diaper 45 degrees, that is, turn it sideways, to get a different length. These are 2 layer through the whole thing and don't have a thicker center pad like regular twill prefolds, so they can be used in either direction just the same way. It makes no difference which direction you use it because it's the same thickness all the way through. Customize to your baby's correct absorbency with the very economically priced Sherpa Doublers (use this link or scroll down for them below). It's nice to have matching fabrics.
Flip it sideways to change the length. Size medium shown.
Also makes a nice flat, real cotton insert for pockets or gCovers or other hybrids.
Measurements
Cloth-eez® Sherpa Newborn 11" wide x 12" long or 12"x11" when flipped sideways. Fits newborn to about 6 weeks or 2 months, or fits about 5-10 pounds. Fits in most newborn covers. (Close in size to a newborn orange edge prefold. Also a super-duper absorbent night doubler or stuffer for older babies.)
Cloth-eez® Sherpa Small 14" wide by 13" long, or flip it 45 degrees and it's 13" wide by 14". Fits in most size small covers, for about 10-15 pounds or so. (Close in size to a yellow edge prefold but wider)
2 layers of 100% cotton soft and squishy, stretchy knit. Unbleached cotton. Wash several times on hot before first use. Made in Pakistan.

Cloth-eez® Cotton Sherpa Doublers:
2 layer on left, 3 layer on right
100% cotton doubler. The picture shows them after washing. Tapered shape. The cotton fabric is a nice, soft sherpa. It's unbleached so wash it several times on hot to remove the natural cotton oils before using. When fully shrunk size 2 layer version is 12 inches long and it's 2 layers thick. Size 3 layer version is longer and is 3 layers thick and is 13 inches long. Cotton sherpa has a soft hand, or feel to it. These are narrow through the center, and easy washing 100% cotton (no microfiber!) Very economically priced. Made in Pakistan.
