Hi Karen, I just had to write you to let you know that you and your website gave me the courage to try cloth diapering, and actually make the switch to cloth. When I decided to look into cloth diapering, I did lots and lots of research because I had no idea what I was going to be getting myself into. As it turns out, StorkNet.com was the site I found first with cloth diapering info, and your name/company came up several times as being absolutely wonderful to deal with. Of all the websites I found, Green Mountain Diapers looked to be the best (well laid out, easy to navigate, and TONS of information) so I decided to check out your products. I ordered your Cloth Trial Kit (version 1) back in July because I wanted to try cloth diapering my then 11 month old (I also have a 3 year old). I was so excited to receive my package in just 2 days and couldn't wait to try everything out. Of course I was nervous about whether I was washing the diapers and covers the "right way", and how to actually put on a cloth diaper and cover, but your How-To Booklet included in my order has guided me through it all. You are so wonderful to provide this to your customers and I honestly don't think I would be as confident as I am about cloth diapering without it. Your website is also fantastic with all the pictures and useful information, and I also refer to it when I have questions. I just wish I had given cloth diapering a try with my first child or sooner with my second because it is so much fun (never thought I would say that about diapering), but better late ! than never. We're trying for a third so I am looking forward to cloth diapering a newborn hopefully in the not too distant future. March 19, 2003Our son was a premie and was in ICU for a short time. His nurses used to appologize to me everyday about his diaper rash. They said they would change his diaper very often and put cream on him. He would just never clear up. I asked if it was ok to bring in cloth diapers to use at the hospital since that was what we planned on using at home. The nurses agreed. His diaper rash cleared up over night! A few weeks ago, a friend left some disposables behind. I decided to use one just to see how much easier they are over cloth. I just slipped it under him. Then I saw a little hand feeling the diaper. He ripped it from under himself and said, "No, no Mama." I diapered him with cloth. No complaints! He is 19 months old and I never regret for a day deciding to cloth diaper him.
