Bummis Original
This is a 10 day old, 7.5 pound baby in size newborn. She has almost outgrown it already. It's a very nice cover on small newborns and preemies. Use Preemie size Prefold Diapers under this. Even Orange edge newborn diapers are a bit much under this tiny cover.

For cord healing, it is easy to fold down the top part of a Bummi Original (or Bummi Cotton) size small.
This baby is 5 weeks old but almost 12 pounds already. He's really big! He is also in the Bummi Original size small. Under this is the infant prefold folded the "alternative fold". This is the trimmest way to cloth diaper a newborn. The picture below is the diaper on this baby. A quick, easy, trim fitting, and very economically priced newborn diapering system.

Since this baby fits both sizes now, mom uses the medium with the infant prefold when she wants a trim diaper, and uses the large with the premium prefold when she wants more absorbency. Some will ask, "How'd you get a Regular Premium prefold on a 4 month old? Those diapers are huge!" Yes, they are big diapers for a 4 month old. Most 4 month olds are in infant size prefolds. This baby is larger than average. See how it's done below. Or easier, choose a yellow or red edge Cloth-eez prefold instead of the blue edge ones.

Bummi Original is nylon outside. Bummi Swimmi is the same cover but with a cottony outer sewn over the nylon. We don't carry the Swimmi.
This is great over unpinned prefolds, but please don't try to use it over fitteds since it is narrow at the hip. This is the trimmest of the wrap style covers.
